Chelcie is a compassionate and skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner committed to delivering respectful, evidence‑informed, and person‑centered support. She brings experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from young children to older adults, drawing on her foundational background as a Disability Support Worker, which continues to shape her practical and empathetic approach to behaviour support.
With an educational background in Psychology and several years of experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Chelcie has developed strong capability in behavioural assessment, intervention planning, capacity‑building and restrictive practices. Her professional journey has included implementing evidence‑based behaviour strategies, collaborating closely with families and support networks, and contributing to the clinical development of behaviour support teams.
Chelcie has supported individuals with a wide range of needs, including Psychosocial Disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Complex PTSD (CPTSD), Dementia, Frontal Lobe Conditions, Sensory Differences, Trauma‑related experiences, and individuals with a wide range of physical support needs.
Chelcie’s professional ethos is grounded in empathy, respect, and positive connection – ensuring every individual she works with feels understood, supported, and valued. She is known for her warm communication style, collaborative approach, and commitment to helping individuals build meaningful skills that promote safety, independence, and improved wellbeing.
