Storm Clements is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours I) and a Master of Clinical Psychology, and provides both therapy and assessment services, including paediatric diagnostic assessments.
Storm accepts both private and NDIS clients at our East Brisbane Clinic and a referral is not required. However, referrals can be made under a Mental Health Treatment Plan or Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan.
Warm, compassionate, and authentic, Storm brings empathy and professionalism to every therapeutic relationship. She is committed to person-centred, trauma-informed care, creating an environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued.
Storm believes therapy begins with trust and psychological safety. She works collaboratively to honour each person’s story, supporting clients to understand themselves and make meaningful change.
Storm recognises the courage it takes to seek support and start therapy—especially when sharing your story for the first time or beginning again with someone new. She understands that the therapeutic relationship is foundational to healing and personal growth, and she prioritises building trust and psychological safety from the outset.
Her approach is strengths-based, neuro-affirming, and inclusive of LGBTQIA+ identities. She encourages openness, emotional honesty, and self-compassion while helping people navigate challenges such as anxiety symptoms, complex trauma, and grief and loss.
Storm utilises evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Each plan is tailored to individual needs, integrating approaches suited to adults, adolescents, and children.
