Sian McCue is a registered Advanced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Team Leader at Hively Health on the Sunshine Coast, supporting individuals of all ages. Her work includes supporting children and adults with autism, intellectual disability, and complex mental health or behavioural needs.
Sian is recognised as an autism-friendly therapist on the Sunshine Coast, known for her calm, proactive, and person-centred approach as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. Originally from the UK, Sian brings over a decade of experience in the disability and mental health sector. She has held multiple leadership roles and currently leads the Sunshine Coast Hively Positive Behaviour Support team. Sian works extensively with NDIS participants and is known for her empathetic and proactive approach as a behaviour specialist.
Sian’s approach to Positive Behaviour Support on the Sunshine Coast is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in human rights. As an experienced PBS practitioner and behaviour support specialist, she views behaviour as communication and works to uncover the reasons behind behaviours of concern.

As Team Leader, Sian plays an active role in building Hively’s presence across the Sunshine Coast. She regularly represents the organisation at community events such as the Sunshine Coast Community Disability Expo and the Sunshine Coast Regional Disability Expo, where she connects with families, providers, and local organisations to advocate for inclusive, strengths-based support.
