What is Positive Behaviour Support?
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a holistic, proactive approach that seeks to understand and address the root causes of behaviours of concern. Through tailored, values-based strategies, PBS improves daily life and promotes independence.
At Hively Health, our Gold Coast PBS team develop individual behavioural support plans that respect each person’s strengths, preferences, and goals—while focusing on reducing restrictive practices wherever possible.
Behaviour Support Services on the Gold Coast
Our Gold Coast practitioners provide comprehensive PBS services that support individuals with autism, developmental delay, intellectual disability, and other neurodivergent experiences.
Person-centred Approach
We meet with the person we are supporting and the wider support team to ensure we understand individual needs, goals and how best to achieve them.
Tailored Assessments
In-depth assessments to understand behavioural triggers, needs, and environmental influences. We also provide comprehensive assessments for those seeking to have PBS funded in a NDIS Plan.
